Extiva Communications Sdn Bhd ("Extiva") holds licenses from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) that allows it to offer its telecommunications services to corporations and individuals in Malaysia.
Founded in 1999, Extiva was a pioneer in the Alternative Voice Service Provider (AVSP) market in Malaysia, and today offers a comprehensive portfolio of services that include voice and data services over fixed and wireless platforms. The company strives to provide the whole suite of end-to-end communications and connectivity solutions, encompassing Alternative Voice Telephony Service (AVTS), IP telephony, broadband Internet access, and last mile connectivity for the service provider, enterprise and consumer markets.
Despite the intense competitive landscape in the Malaysian voice telecommunications market, Extiva has continued to earn the YTLE Group a substantial return on its investment. Indeed, since gaining its license in 2001, and despite competing with over 255 other licensees in this space over the years, Extiva has succeeded in contributing profits to the YTLE Group amounting to over 60 times the equity share capital invested in the company. In cognizance of the challenging competitive market conditions prevailing today, mostly from Tier 1 telcos, Extiva continues to explore new technologies and initiatives that are synergistic to its current core activities.
